it's been long since i've update. and i do apologize for that. but finally something to post at last. this time it's a school related project.
in my design class, our first project is to take photographs of patterns. patterns from nature and from artificial things. and we have to somehow connect nature and artificial things through the patterns. so therefore, the patterns have to some what match and sorting the pictures into pairs according to the patterns being photographed.
and so, i have taken a few photographs that i'd like to show. it might not be as high quality as expected due to the fact that this is my first time taking pictures like this. but enough blabbering, and off we go!

nature--leaves

artificial--curtains

nature--leaves

artificial--a comb

nature--berries on a tree

artificial--sink holes
hopefully you can see the patterns...^^lll
as for today, i went to this lecture they had at our school (University of Washington) about the history of JRR Tolkien. it was rather interesting. i'm going back again next tuesday (the 22nd). they have a series of lectures on him every week starting this week. it's very exciting. and his works are most excellent. :) well, if anyone wants to go with me, please let me know! tickets are 5 dollars, 7-9PM at Kane Hall Room 130.
thanks loads.
